Matlamat
Matlamat Unit Penyelidikan Forensik Alam Sekitar adalah untuk menjadi pusat rujukan yang berkaitan dengan pengenalpastian sumber pencemaran alam sekitar.
Objektif
Objektif Unit ini adalah untuk:
- mewujudkan sebuah pangkalan data kimia yang komprehensif untuk digunakan sebagai finger print yang digunakan di Malaysia ;
- menentukan pengedaran, punca dan transport pathway bahan pencemar; dan
- menjadi pusat latihan dan pemindahan teknologi forensik alam sekitar.
