Elements of strengthening bilateral ties between the University and industry in a variety of strategic partnerships is a chain of efforts to strengthen the role of universities, which is not limited to the discovery of knowledge but as a source of reference and one-stop center for the industry players and community in research, consultation, commercialization, innovation and the sharing of expertise from UPM.

UPM has established relations with potential industry partners in order to intensify strategic collaboration with UPM. Such relations have opened up opportunities for the implementation of various programs of student development, student internships, lectures / career opportunities, consultancy work, contract research projects and other cooperations that created additional value to UPM and industry partnerships.
